Traditional Food is an original food from a region that was born in the same area . Traditional food is usually made from spices that often found around the region . In West Kalimantan , traditional food of this province such as Pengkang , Bubur Pedas and many more food that come from in many regions of West Kalimantan .
Bubur Pedas , one of traditional foods come from Sambas . Bubur pedas is porridge that is not very spicy . Bubur Pedas is mixed betweeb a material with its other ingredients .
Bubur Pedas is traditional food that made from ferns , turmeric leaves , and kesum leaves . This food usually dish when you visiting family or your bestfriend . Uniquely , Bubur Pedas using vegetables that are not commonly used , such as mangkokan leaf , mengkudu leaf , lime leaf , turmeric leaves and guava leaves are chopped fine and mixed while cooking .
Pengkang actually has not much different with lemper taht already known by many people . If the content of lemper is chicken , meat , or grated coconut . Pengkang content is dried shrimp and remains to be roasted .
